Emergency Services

Our Emergency Services provide immediate assistance and support to individuals and families in crisis situations, helping them stabilize and access resources to meet their basic needs. These services address urgent physical, emotional, and social challenges while empowering clients to rebuild and regain stability. All services are free and confidential.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Utility and Energy Assistance: Help with heating, cooling, and other essential utility needs to prevent disconnection.
  • Emergency Housing Support: Assistance with finding temporary shelter, housing placement, and rental support to prevent homelessness.
  • Food Assistance: Access to food pantries, vouchers, and meal programs to address immediate hunger needs.
  • Clothing and Essential Supplies: Distribution of clothing, hygiene items, and other basic necessities.
  • Financial Assistance and Advocacy: Support with emergency expenses, budgeting, and connections to financial aid programs.
  • Transportation Services: Immediate transportation solutions to access shelters, medical appointments, or essential services.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Personalized support to address urgent safety, mental health, or resource needs.
  • Case Management and Referrals: Holistic case management services, connecting clients to long-term resources, programs, and community partners.
  • Interpretation and Translation: Language support to ensure effective communication and understanding of resources.
  • Community Preparedness and Awareness: Education and outreach initiatives to help individuals and families prepare for emergencies.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Violence/Assault

Our domestic violence and sexual violence/assault programs provide crisis intervention and supportive services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence/assault, in addition to other primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention activities for the community. All services are free and confidential.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Housing, shelter, and rental assistance
  • Basic needs – hygiene, clothing, and food items
  • Victim advocacy (financial, housing, medical, employment, education, immigration, etc.)
  • Accompaniment to hospitals, medical appointments, law enforcement agencies and courts
  • Counseling (individual and group)
  • Transportation
  • Interpretation and Translation
  • Legal advocacy (information, referral, know-your-rights, and training)
  • Community education, training, and awareness
