On Monday, September 24, 2018, Elsa Candelario, the Executive Director of the Hispanic Family Center of Southern New, was honored with the 2018 SOCIAL WORKER OF THE YEAR award by the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-NJ). Ms. Candelario spoke of her motivation and dedication to service & social justice, and delivered an inspiring speech to the students and future social workers in attendance.
The Hispanic Family Center is very proud and the award appropriately reflects Ms. Candelario’s accomplishments and service that she has been providing to the Camden community for the past 21 years.
